SCV

The SCV is the mainstay worker of the Terran army. It is able to mine minerals and gas as well as to construct buildings and repair mechanical units and buildings. The SCV is occupied while constructing buildings but is not consumed like the Zerg Drone. The SCV can also be used to help defend bases in a pinch, or go on the offensive. It is the only melee unit of the Terran army. The SCV is a Space Construction Vehicle and has a unit type of Light - Biological.
