Tempest

Tempest is a starcraft-2 protoss unit
Tempest is the new Heart of the Swarm unit in Starcraft 2. Its basically a seige tank but has better range. It is also a tier 3.5 because it requires a fleat beacon. If you want to dominate the late game, this is the unit to get. Tempest has the longest range in the game, but the sight range is smaller simliar to a siege tank. You need additional sight to shoot that far. The Tempest and has a unit type of Armored - Mechanical, Massive.

Strengths

 

Weaknesses

Very strong with good sight and scouting. Take advantage of ledges and high ground against enemy attackers. The range difference between with sight and without sight is 15 and 12 respectively.   When swarm of enemies come at you, such as clumps of marines, clumps of hydralisk or blink stalkers. Need support units to be effective, especially ground.

Oracle

Oracle is a starcraft-2 protoss unit
Oracle is another new unit from Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm. It has many new spells as a spellcaster. The unit type is light - mechanical - psionic. Therefore, it is cannot be sniped by the sniper's ability. Oracle can quickly kill enemy workers with its pulsar beam. In addition, it has really fast movement speed which is genearlly a strong harassment unit The Oracle and has a unit type of Light Mechanical Psionic.

Weaknesses

The unit is relatively inexpensive that is produced in a Stargate. It has really strong attacks against light unit types like marines in small numbers. Harassing workers without anti air is a key advantage that protoss don't have before Heart of the Swarm.   Any anti air land units will absolutely destory this unit. Especailly fast hydralisk and stimmed marines.

Mothership Core

Mothership Core is a starcraft-2 protoss unit
Mothercore is the new pre-mothership unit in Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm. Basically, the unit is first constructed at the Nexus and then upgrade to the mothership when you have advanced tech in Protoss. Mothership core extends some of the cool abilities of a mothership in addition to a few others. The Mothership Core and has a unit type of Armored.

Hellbat

Hellbat is a starcraft-2 terran unit
Hellbat is a new unit from Heart of the swarm Starcraft 2. It is a transformation of the factory unit, hellion. The Hellbat and has a unit type of Light.

Strengths

 

Weaknesses

Light armored unit with huge amount of health. Soak up damage so higher dps units like marines and seige tank can deliever. Medivacs can heal hellbats.   It takes 4 seconds to transform between hellions and hellbats. Therefore, this unit needs to be used with good positioning. Infernal Pre-Igniter also does not affect Hellbats.

Widow Mine

Widow Mine is a starcraft-2 terran unit
Widow mine is a new Terran unit featured in Heart of the Swarm, Starcraft 2. Compared to to Wings of Liberty, the unit is an additional units produced from the factory and works with reactor addon. The Widow Mine is a Light and Mechanical and has a unit type of Light.

Ability to active mine in stealth. Unable to detect mine without detection. Early and cheap unit to produce with factory addon.   Open Ground, Long range fighers, Detection and Heavy armored air units.
