The Hydralisk is a mainstay of the Zerg army from StarCraft 1. The StarCraft 2 Hydralisk has a few changes though. The Hydralisk is a tier 2 unit (requires Lair upgrade) and is slightly stronger, yet slower, than their SC1 counterparts. The Hydralisk does devastating damage to air and ground units but has only 80 hit points. It is also strongly recommended to have creep as Hydralisks move dramatically faster along the creep.
