The Zealot is the primary warrior of the Protoss in StarCraft 2, as it was in the original StarCraft. The Zealot is a melee fighter with a significant amount of HP and shields. The zealot is also a high damage melee unit and although not too fast the Zealot can have Charge researched to increase his speed. A zealot is an especially strong unit when it can attack its opponent but be careful of units trying to kite you as well as blockades and choke points that inhibit your army from 'wrapping' around your opponent, allowing all of your zealots to engage. The Zealot is a Assault Warrior and has a unit type of Light - Biological.
