The Void Ray is a very powerful Protoss air unit in StarCraft 2. The Void Ray has the ability to charge its attack, meaning after it has attacked consecutively for several seconds its attack will increaase in damage. The Void Ray also has a range of 6, allowing it to more easily harass an opponents base. Once charged, the Void Ray can quickly destroy units and buildings as well, making them a very scary unit to fight against. For tips and videos on using Void Rays check out the strategies on the right. The Void Ray is a Long-Range Bombardment and has a unit type of Armored - Mechanical.
