The Stalker is a new Protoss unit in StarCraft 2 but is surprisingly similar to the Dragoons of the original StarCraft. The Stalker is a ranged attacker of the Protoss army and can attack air and ground units. The stalker has the blink ability which allows it to blink up or down ledges as well as laterally on flat ground to either chase an enemy or to flee from an enemy. This is very useful and allows the Stalker to attack places that are typically out of reach of normal units as well as flee quickly if in trouble. For strategies on effectively using the stalker click on the videos and links on the right. The Stalker is a High Mobility Scout and has a unit type of Armored - Mechanical.
