Probe is a starcraft-2 protoss unit
The Probe is the essential worker unit of the Protoss in StarCraft 2, just like in StarCraft. The Probe mines minerals and gas as well as constructs buildings. The Probe merely begins the construction of a building and the building finishes construction by warping in on its own - the least inhibitive of all construction methods. The Probe, although weak, can also be used to fight off attackers in a pinch. The Probe is a Robotic Worker and has a unit type of Light - Mechanical.
