The Mothership is the new ultra unit of the Protoss army in StarCraft 2. The Mothership has the ability to Mass Recall, Vortex and Cloaking Field. Cloaking Field is a permanently enabled ability, much like Arbiters in the original StarCraft. Vortex allows you to suck troops of yours, or your opponents, into a giant void which can quickly turn the tide of a battle in your favor. Mass Recall allows you to summon units to the Mothership, allowing for interetsing strategies for attacking or defending. For strategies and videos on Motherships check out the links on the right. The Mothership is a Capital Ship and has a unit type of Mechanical - Massive - Psionic.
