The Carrier is a Protoss unit returning to StarCraft 2 from the original StarCraft. The Carrier is an extremely powerful air unit that builds Intercepters to fight for it and launches out the Intercepters to deal amazing amounts of damage. The Carrier weakness is that the Intercepters themselves can be killed, making the Carriers unable to fight, but now Carriers have the ability to auto-build Intercepters making using the Carriers slightly easier. The Carriers have a long range and very damaging attack making them effective against bases and armies.
