How to sneak attack your opponents base into submission using only your Roaches. Roaches in StarCraft 2 can get burrowing claws allowing them to move while burrowed - an intriguing and powerful surprise attack for Zerg.

When to Use: |
|
Featured Units: |
| Use this if your opponents base isn't blockaded and they don't have detector units. |

|
[What to do] |
| Burrow your roaches outside of visible range of your opponents base and then move them into your opponents base. Likely the mineral line is your target. |
|
| |
[Tips for Pulling This Off] |
| Quickly tech to a Lair and get the upgrade for burrowed movement. Bring an overlord or run a Zergling in prior to your attack to see if they have detectors or if they are blockaded, if not, move those Roaches all the way to the Mineral line, unburrow and unleash all hell. |

Good vs. These Races / Strategies: |
|
Bad vs. These Races / Strategies: |
| This is great when your opponent can't blockade an area on the map or they don't have a blockade or scanners for an expansion. |
|
This is bad when there is a blockade as you will be stuck or if they have detectors in the area as your Roaches will be attacked and will ether die or have to unburrow. |

What to do in Success: |
|
What to do in Failure: |
| If you are successful you can try to take out structures in the enemies base and potentially fight their army from the inside where the terrain creates a much fairer fight. Also, you can unburrow and walk out or stay in their base while you build up an army and attack again (since they have little or no economy left) |
|
If you can't get in just run away as fast as possible. If you get in but lose your forces and don't destroy much then you will likely need to rebuild units and play a little defensively. |
