[What to do]

Your goal with a stack is likely to beat the other persons' stack.

[Tips for Pulling This Off]

You'll want to strategically meet the other persons' army. Is the terrain right, are your counters to their units in their proper place, are you able to quickly reinforce your army if you lose, etc.

Good vs. These Races / Strategies:

Bad vs. These Races / Strategies:

What your stack is depends on if it's good or not. You'll want your stack to include hard counters for your enemies units to be as good as possible.   In most cases it's not bad to have a stack, but you can be outmatched if your opponent has more troops, better counters to your units than you have to theirs, or both.

What to do in Success:

What to do in Failure:

If you are successful and you have any decent amount of units left it's time to push. Take your army to the enemies base or to their expansions, depending on what you want to eliminate, and have at them.   If you fail be ready to produce more troops immediately and make sure the units you are producing will counter what your enemy has.
