Support for Ground Armies
How to properly support your ground armies using your Vikings massive range. Showcasing how StarCraft 2's Vikings add some much needed range and air to air defense missing from StarCraft 1.
When to Use:
When your ground units are met with opposing air units.
[What to do]
Have your Vikings push opposing air units back. Keep your Vikings safe as well.
[Tips for Pulling This Off]
-Utilize your Vikings' range to keep them out of danger while still pushing/harassing the opponents air.- Focus fire with your Vikings on the other air units.- Have a scanner ready for Banshees or Mothership.- Switch Vikings to ground mode to attack base or remaining army units.

This is great vs. most opposing air units. Vikings Long range makes their support highly effective.
This is bad vs. Opposing Thor's or if your opponent has massive ground to air units.

- Continue to support ground troops and push forward.- Switch Vikings to ground mode to help attack base/troops if need be.
- Save as many units as possible.- Rebuild units as needed.
Transforms the Viking into Fighter Mode. In this mode Vikings fly, but they can only attack air targets.
Transforms the Viking to Assault Mode. In this mode Vikings move on the ground and can only attack ground targets.
