In this strategy video, I will be showing you how to rush effectively in 3v3 leveraging the critical mass of marines. With 5 early barracks from each of your teammates, you can assure that you army will be so big that will evaporate anything walking towards your team.

When to Use: |

Featured Units: |
| Any 3v3 map that is small. Really effective against early protoss or zerg. |

|
[What to do] |
| Start the game, build a supply depot at 9, then a barracks at 12. Another Barracks at 15. Get the orbital command at 17 and another 3 barracks soon after. Avoid getting a refinery or reactor. This strategy is very effective for early push. Not teching. |
|
| |
[Tips for Pulling This Off] |
| Make sure your marines are clumped together for maximum effectiveness. This will allow you to kill anything like zerglings and zealots before they can even get to you. Critical mass is important in this strategy, make sure you take advantage of early mass marines as much as possible. |

Good vs. These Races / Strategies: |
|
Bad vs. These Races / Strategies: |
| This strategy is very effective against any sort of tech/push style build by the enemy. You will be able to defend against void rays, mutalisks and so forth because you get so many marines so quickly. |
|
This strategy could be difficult against early cheese like a cannon rush or 6 pool zerglings. |
| |
|
|
What to do in Success: |
|
What to do in Failure: |
| Once you can take out an enemy, one or two of your teammate should transistion out of marines to get marauders and tanks. It is a good idea to build a refinery right when you are about to push out. |
|
If your attack fails, try again. Avoid teching at all cost because you will not be able to out tech your opponent with such a slow refinery. |

Starcraft 2 Terran StrategyThis is Scvrush here giving you guys a commentary and a build order for Terrans. This game is going to be a 3v3 match up between some of my friends in plat and diamond. In this video, I will be showing you how to rush effectively in 3v3 leveraging the critical mass of marines. With 5 early barracks from each of your teammates, you can assure that you army will be so big that will evaporate anything walking towards your team.
This Terran Strategy is very simple:
- Supply depot at 9
- Barracks at 12
- Barracks at 14
- Avoid the refinery.
- Orbital Command at 17
- Supply depot at 17.
- Add 3 more barracks while pumping massive number of marines:
Also, avoid getting the refinery because it slows you down. This strategy aims at producing as many marines as fast as possible. Refinery cost 75 minerals and 30 seconds from a SCV which is (30minerals in mining time). So to get a reactor on a barracks, it costs an additional 50 seconds and 175 minerals and 50 gas. That is definitely not worth it. It is better to spend that mineral on an orbital command or another barracks instead.
Starcraft 2 Critical Mass theory
The idea of this strategy is to get so many marines that reaches critical mass early which is not as easy as 1v1 and 2v2. Critical mass means that you are able to defeat the enemy's units before they can reach you. This is very similar to the theory of critical mass siege tanks and colossus. You want to get a lot of marines clumped together so they all fire at the enemy such as zealots and zerglings when they attack you. In this video, you can see how getting massive number of marines will decimate any ground force that the opponent throws at you using the power of critical mass.
What are you waiting for? Try this Terran strategy out already.
