Reaper Early Base Harassment

How to Harass your opponent with Maximum effect with Reapers in the early game. StarCraft 2 allows some early economy destruction for Terran.

When to Use:

 

Featured Units:

This is best used early in the game when the opponent does not have defense in their worker area.   Reaper is used for this strategies
     

[What to do]

Bring your reaper to the enemies worker line via a back or side entrance to their base so as to avoid being seen and destroyed.
 

[Tips for Pulling This Off]

To pull this off properly you will want your reapers to arrive at your opponents base early and unnoticed. Try to sneak them in via the back of the enemies base and don't attack until you are right next to their workers line. 3 Reapers one shot a drone so 3 is a good number to go in with.
 
     

Good vs. These Races / Strategies:

 

Bad vs. These Races / Strategies:

This is particularly good vs. Protoss and Terran and also particularly good if those races are going with a more late game strategy. Reapers are very effective vs. all light units including Marines, Zealots and Sentries.   This is bad vs. Zerg if it is delayed as they will have queens and also bad if your opponent has Marauders, Roaches or Stalkers.

If you are successful you may be able to keep your Reapers in the enemies base and continue to kill workers or buildings after you have killed the primary workers and any defensive units that have come to support. If so continue to build up at your own base and/or expand to gain a large economic advantage on your opponent.   If your reaper harass gets in their base and you can do little or no damage
