When to Use: |

Featured Units: |
| For back of the base harassment drops and lightly defended expansion drops. |

|
[What to do] |
| Load your Marines and Marauders into your Medivac and carefully move your Medivac to your desired drop location. Then unload on your hopefully unsuspecting victim. |
|
| |
[Tips for Pulling This Off] |
| Scout your drop location beforehand to ensure it has minimal defenses. Then move your Medivac(s) to the location very cautiously to avoid detection and interception by anti-air troops. Once at the location deploy your troops behind or in the mineral line and deal as much damage to the workers and the base as possible. If encountering light forces fight them, if heavy forces are coming try to quickly load and escape with your troops. |

Good vs. These Races / Strategies: |
|
Bad vs. These Races / Strategies: |
| This is great whenever you can catch your opponent off guard. Minimal, or no, anti-air defense and minimal, or no, other defenses at their mining areas are when you should use this. |
|
Do not use this if your opponent has lots of map control where they can see your Medivacs coming and prepare or if they have a good amount of anti-air or static defense around their mining operations. |

What to do in Success: |
|
What to do in Failure: |
| In success it is recommended to try to expand or to build up for a few minutes and attack. You should have an economic advantage - or have brought yourself even with your enemy - and be able evenly or overproduce them. Also, if they have multiple bases or expansions you can drop their other bases as well - if they haven't defended them already. |
|
If your drop is a failure than you should defend your base and escape with whatever units you can. If they are chasing your Medivacs down drop as many troops as you can before your Medivacs are destroyed and either fight or run with those dropped units. |

Not really 4/5 difficulty
If it was how to carpet drop units from dropships then I'd say 4/5 difficulty.
