When to Use: |

Featured Units: |
| When there is a pillar where you will fight |

|
[What to do] |
| Back off from the pillar so that you are at least the range of their army from the pillar. This pillar will work as an automatic break in their army line decreasing the amount of units they have that can attack your army. |
|

[Tips for Pulling This Off] |
| Keep your troops back as your enemy advances and be ready to pounce on them immediately as they reach the pillar or terrain feature. |

Good vs. These Races / Strategies: |
|
Bad vs. These Races / Strategies: |
| This trick should be used whenever possible. Also, if you have a primarily melee based army it is advised to not charge the enemy until they get to the pillar as that will help to separate their army. |

What to do in Success: |
|
What to do in Failure: |
| -If it's a large fight push on their base immediately, - if it's a small fight then you can check their expansions then pull back and keep building units and possibly expand as you should have a unit/army advantage on them. |
|
- Have all of your production facilities ready to rebuild your army. Either queued up or larva spawned so that your army can be refreshed as quickly as possible. - Get ready for the enemy to bring the fight to your base. |
