Difficulty Rank:

3/5

When to Use:

Featured Units:

When there are two walls or ledges that force armies to walk thru a smaller corridor

[What to do]

Stand past the exit of the corridor. The goal is to have your army have a larger "line" as you face the enemies army. This will allow you to have more units firing at them than they have firing at you.

[Tips for Pulling This Off]

Keep your troops positioned slightly farther from the end of the corridor/valley than is their range. As your opponent nears the end you can move your units up to cut them off from exiting the corridor and gain the advantage.

Good vs. These Races / Strategies:

Bad vs. These Races / Strategies:

This is good in all cases where you have a ranged army. Any kind of splash damage is especially effective here as well.   This is bad if you have predominately melee troops. If you have melee troops you will want to surround the enemy after they leave the corridor or else you won't be able to "wrap" around them.

What to do in Success:

What to do in Failure:

If it's a large fight push on their base immediately, if it's a small fight then you can check their expansions then pull back and keep building units and possibly expand as you should have a unit/army advantage on them.   - Have all of your production facilities ready to rebuild your army. Either queued up or larva spawned so that your army can be refreshed as quickly as possible. - Get ready for the enemy to bring the fight to your base.
