Bronze Level Question - How does a Terran complete construction after SCV killed?

      Hello!

I'm sure this is an easy question for many of you. If your SCV is building a barracks and is killed prior to finishing construction, how do you get another SCV to finish construction?

      Thanks!

Also, if you see them attacking your SCV building a building then you should pull 2 scv's off the line AS SOON as you see their unit coming in and attack their probe/scv/drone with your scv's. You can also click on the building and click "select worker" or something like that and have him temporarily stop construction (as he will be damaged) and send him to mine minerals and then send one of the scv's you sent to attack the perpetrator to finish building that building.

Halt (T) is another useful action to know. You can pull the harassed scv off producing the structure to save the scv. Or you can halt the scv temporarily to attack the harasser a little bit so that you only have to pull 1 scv off your line to save (instead of 2).

Actually all you have to do while he is building is select him and click on the mineral.

The pesky Protoss are the biggest offenders of this. They always have there little zappy zap probes bullying the poor SCV's

Thanks for the advice! I'm humbled that some many good players chimed in. I'm also thrilled to say I finally was promoted to Silver League. I owe a great deal of that promotion to UEN's great forums and outstanding commmentaries. Thanks!
