      Whats your gaming setup?

Just wondering what you all use for your gaming setup:

Laptop (won't say model or name cause I'm embarrassed)
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 2 GHz Processor
      Dual nVidia GeForce 260M 1GB Video Cards/ 9800 when I'm saving battery
      G9x (5000 dpi)

I've been thinking of picking up a r.a.t. 7 mostly because it looks nerdy as hell ...

I'm beginning to feel 5000 dpi is too high for starcraft. It works for me when I'm playing twitch classes in shooters and I drop to 1800 when I snipe, but I sometimes miss cherry picking units and individual microing in starcraft because of an errant twitch (bonus points if you know what this is from). Just wondering what yall use.

My computer is actually rather terrible. My graphics card is either a 9500 or 9600 gt (nvidia) and everything else in it is of pretty much equal suck lol. As for mouse/keyboard I use a logitech g110 keyboard and a standard 6 button logitech wired mouse. I heavily support logitech products

Thats one of the pretty sweet things about starcraft though. I have a friend who runs it on a 1500 rig and another who runs it on his 3 year old laptop.

I just like fancy explosions when banshees get sniped by my queens *pew pew.

      Gaming gear FTW!

I like my rig, so here it is:

Core i7-920 running P6T ASUS mobo (i really do hate this mobo atm)
6 Gb Cosair Dominator at 1600 MHz (3x2 Gb set)
2 x 5770 ATI Radeon Graphics in Crossfire

with the usual monstrous space but nothing to fill the void etc, otherwise i use a razer lycosa keyboard and deathadder mouse, amazinly razer is the only company to make a mouse that actually feels comfortable for me, also playing on 32'' of screen helps the accuracy a tiny bit

mine is weak but not for long

i have a new dell studio 15 with a 1080p screen, icore 3@2ghz and 4 gig ram with Intel hd graphics.

i am building a new rig which will have 4 gig ram(faster mhz) an amd phentom 2 dual core at 3 ghz, an xfx ati radeon hd 5670 and a asrock 870 extreme 3 mb. i hope it will be good enough to run it on ultra settings as my poor new laptop cannot run any higher than low.

I have heard some really good things about the dual 5770 set up, actually. The only problem I have ever heard about it is that occasionally newer games take a little longer to get supported by ATI cards than others, but the quality seems worth it.

      AMD Phenom II X4 965, OC'ed to ~3.8 (IIRC)
      4 GB DDR3-1600 RAM
      EVGA GeForce GTX 465
      32" HDTV
      POS mouse/keyboard

Hmm. Lots of acronyms in that mess. Regarding the dual-ATI's, word of warning: I originally went with ATI (hence my crossfire MB ... which I see I didn't list, but I'm too lazy and it doesn't matter anyway), but ended up having a semi-common problem in which SC2 (SPECIFICALLY SC2) would either BSOD or blank-screen after 10 minutes of play. AMD's and Bnet's forums were both crawling with threads on this, although it may have been fixed since then. I just found it easier to return the ATIs and get a spiffy Nvidia that actually worked for the game I built the rig for.

I'm not a huge fan of 5770's in crossfire, but thats just from a bad experience. I just build a rig for my cousin with 6870's and it rips starcraft to shreds even in our 8 man custom games. If your going to do sli or crossfire I can't suggest the 6xxx series enough they stack amazingly.
