      CPU: i7 940
      Mobo: p6t SE
      RAM: Corsair 6 gigs
      GPU: HD 5770

Everything runs at max with no problems, but now for the More interesting stuff, the peripherals!

      Mouse:

Steelserries Kinzu: This is one of the best claw grip mice I have ever had. I replaced my old Razer Copperhead (one of the best mouse out there to be honest). Although the Kinzu is less than half the price of the Copperhead, the grip on the kinzu just gives me better control and accuracy.

      Keyboard:

Filco Majestouch Tenkeyless with Chermy MX Brown Mechanical Switches.

This is hands down the BEST keyboard I have ever had, in fact I can never go back to my Razer Lycosa.
I HIGHLY recommend this keyboard or just any mechanical keyboard for gaming. I almost want to throw away my Lycosa after a few minutes of using this keyboard.

There are a few keyboards out there that will claim to be great for SC2 such as the Razer Marauder, but it's actually false. The Razer Marauder is a piece of crap as it is not mechanical.

If you don't already have a mechanical keyboard you need to get yourself one =D.
Try to get one with either Brown or Blue switches to get a good feel.

This keyboard just feels like it was meant for gaming.
This keyboard is to a PC as a playstation controller is to a playstation.

I would say i enjoy sc2 20% more since i got this keyboard, GET IT!

Anyone care to elucidate on the advantages/benefits of the mechanical KBs? I admit curiosity, and I suspect if I actually invested in one I'd absolutely adore it, but I've never heard the distinction before.

Also, just for reference, running SC2 off of an SSD is awesome; my desktop only has a 40gb SSD in it, so I had to install minimal apps on it, but SC was definitely one of them .

I use the G13 which is a lot like the Nostromo. Not enough room for the # keys. But if you pair that up with the Razer Naga you will have a winning combination. The razer naga has all the # Keys plus the - and +. It is ideal for ANY GAME. I used to play BF2 and BC2 professionally I would not play with out it. I have recommended this set up to other players before and they have never regretted it. Also the new Naga looks AWESOME. Comes with weights and Larger grip for people with larger hands. This set up will take at least 1 week to get used to and at least 2 weeks to master, if not longer.

      G13

      Nostromo

For those who want to learn more about Mechanical Keyboards go to the link below

      Mechanical Keyboard Guide - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

It just has a better feel and you don't get as tired after thousands of key strokes.
Everyone in the GSL uses mechanical keyboards, I have yet to see a non mechanical keyboard from the progamers.

I admit, your glowing recommendation for the Filco was persuasive, and further reviews even more so. Unfortunately, they don't appear to exist these days; elitekeyboards.net stopped carrying them with the promise that a new brand will be forthcoming. That said, thanks for the link; quite informative.

My peripherals cost twice as much as my computer lol. I am a huge fan of gaming mouses, keyboards and stuff like that. I'll post a picture soon.

oh man i went throught the same pain as you did! but i found a website that's better than elitekeyboards (cheaper).

You will need Google Chrome (you should have this anyways since it's by far the best browser) to translate the Taiwanese website I ordered the keyboard from.

The link below explains how to navigate around the Taiwanese website
geekhack forums - View Single Post - Armygroup discussion thread

      This is the Taiwanese Website:
      FILCO Tenkeyless N-key ???-???(87k ??)(????+??)_??_??_AG?On-Line Store??????????--???????-- ????????????????????????????

I searched the net for 5 hours trying to figure out how i can get ahold of a Filco Majestouch.

a cheaper alternative is the Rosewill RK-9000, it's like a cheaper Filco Majestouch.

If you don't like your majestouch (which will not happen), you can sell it online and someone is going to buy it in no time, these things are high in demand.

Antonio, how much did you end up paying? (+ shipping etc) i will probably pay more if im shipping to australia but I would like to see which is the cheapest option, that and what sort of switches are available and what switch would you recommend, from what i saw i would go red switches but im unsure as this will be my first mechanical keyboard! :O please bring me into the world of awesome keyboards!

As for mouses, my razer deathadder is the ONLY mouse ive found large enough for my hands to fit properly XD and feel fast at the same time
The mind is both willing and able, the hands are too busy reaching for the beer bottle..... Add me on the SEA and NA servers: Flamga #377
