The Tech Lab is an add on structure for the Terran player in StarCraft 2. The Tech Lab allows for the Terran player to have an array of upgrades depending on what structure it is attached to. It allows for Infantry upgrades when attached to the Barracks, Mech upgrades when attached to the Factory and Air Unit upgrades when attached to the Starport. The upgrades are for abilities or energy though, and not armor or weapons upgrades. Also, the Tech Lab can be built at one structure, but used at another by lifting off the building currently attached to it and lifting off and landing the building you want attached to it next to the Tech Lab. Tech Lab's structure type is Armored - Mechanical - Structure
