One Base Battlecruiser Terran Build Order against Zerg with Patch 1.3 BC buff

This build order will teach you how to do a one base battlecruiser push around the 8minute mark on a small map




 

[Terran Build Order]


     
    • 9th scv - supply depot
    • 11 - refinery (3 scvs gathering after completion)
    • 13 barracks
    • 16 factory and orbital command after barracks finishes
    • 17 build a second refinery with 3 SCVs working
    • 19 starport then fusion core
    • Build a battlecruiser around 26 and push out with scvs, marines and hellions
     

Scouting Needs:

 

Optimal Map Conditions:

You need to make sure that the zerg doesn't do a economy baneling bust, this can be determined by whether the zerg expands or not   The smaller the map, the more favorable it is. Maps like Metalopolis, Steppes of War and Xel Naga Caverns are good rushable maps

What to Watch out For:

Watch out for baneling that steam rolls your marines. If that is the case, your battlecruisers could be vulnerable if they have a spire for mutalisk and corruptors. Be sure to build extra barracks for marines and bring scvs to protect your BCs
 

Tips for Pulling off the Attack:

Your battlecruiser is your main dps here, make sure you use it to target the greatest threat like static defense that your marines cannot break. You should make sure SCVs are following your Battlecruiser with auto repair on, they can repair that damage fairly fast. Rally your marines and starport while fighting
 

Transitioning out of this Strategy:

The moment you push out with your single or dual battlecruiser, you should put down a command center, this is the time to transistion into something else. This is also the time you are least vulnerable.
 

Starcraft 2 Terran Build Order


Hello Gentlemen:

This is SCVrush here giving you guys a Battlecruiser build order! This one is going to feature a one base economy battlecruiser build order. This BO is favorable on small maps like Steppes of War against a zerg opponent. Do not try this against a protoss lol. You will be crushed by 4 gates every time. The reason why this strategy works is because the zerg needs to be able to deal with mass ground and heavy armored air which requires a delicate balance from the zerg player in addition to good scouting. If the zerg gets too many anti air units, the scv marines will dominate. On the other hand, if the zerg player gets many banelings to counter Terran marines, battlecruisers will do extremely well.

Keep in mind that battlecruisers have an armor of 3 which means that Queen only do 2 damage to them per hit; not an anti air solution for BCs.
