The Protoss Cannon push is a cheez strategy in StarCraft 2. The goal is to quickly build a pylon and forge at your opponents base and then build Photon Cannons to push on your opponents base, effectively using these static defenses to leapfrog into your opponents base and destroy their Command Center.

Scouting Needs: |

Optimal Map Conditions: |
| You need to know where your opponents base is. |
|
Small to Medium maps work best for this. |

Vs Protoss: |
|
Vs Zerg: |
| This strategy works well as you can establish cannons prior to the Terran having any marines. It is advised to build your first pylon and cannon out of sight range and expand your cannon / pulon control area into where their main base is. Establish this presence prior to them building a bunker and the game is yours. Watch out for a liftoff and try to setup pylons at their natural expansion to avoid them landing their or to establish photon cannons there as well. |

What to Watch out For: |
| Watch out for early cheez rushes as these may be able to counter your rush or get to your pylons/cannons quickly. Also, watch out for static defenses of your opponent being setup to counter your push. Be sure to keep your probe alive at all costs to build more cannons/pylons as needed. |
| |
Tips for Pulling off the Attack: |
| You want to establish your first pylon out of sight range of your opponents main base, if there's a ledge it is recommended to put your first cannon and pylon below the ledge and your second cannon on the ledge. |
