The Mass Stalkers strategy is a mid game strategy that's goal is to mass these fast and effective StarCraft 2 units. The Mass Stalkers allows for a slightly less aggressive start but better overall flexibility.

Scouting Needs: |
|
Optimal Map Conditions: |
| Scout your opponent to look out for early cheez attacks and determine their location. |
|
Medium sized maps are best for this strategy as stalkers are fast moving and require time to be built. |

Vs Terran: |
|
Vs Protoss: |
|
Vs Zerg: |
| This strategy works well vs. Terran. This army, coupled with a few sentries, works well vs. M&M armies as the sentries can mitigate the Marine damage and the stalkers do extra damage to Marauders. Utilize the blink ability as much as possible to chase down or escape from your opponent as well as gain any kind of ledge advantage. |
|
This strategy works well Protoss as it counters any kind of air army well and also does well vs. tier 1-1.5 ground units. Watch out for Immortals though. |
|
This strategy works well vs. Zerg as the Stalkers can outrange Roaches and with blink can somewhat kite zerglings. Watch out for early speedling attacks though as they can quickly surround and pound stalkers. |

What to Watch out For: |
| Watch out for quick cheez strategies as this strategy takes slightly longer to get going than zealots and sentries. For early air strategies, if you can scout them, it is advised to keep enough stalkers near your Nexus to fend off the attacks. |
| |
Tips for Pulling off the Attack: |
| To pull off the attack group your stalkers together tightly to form the "ball." If you have blink it is advised to blink away damaged units early and to close in on enemy bases (blink up the ramp, blink into the base, etc.). Also, short range units like zealots, zerglings, and roaches can be somewhat kited by the longer range (6) and speedy stalkers. |
| |
Transitioning out of this Strategy: |
| If your attack only partially succeeds it is advised to find out what strategy your opponent is going and transition to a counter. Your economy should be strong and you will be able to fend off most attacks with stalkers so an expansion to increase your economy is advised while you change or modify your tech. |
